My cousin is on the team and my uncle is their web master. My aunt called asking if I would take some pictures of my cousin because her point and shoot is...well...a point and shoot. When I got there suddenly I became the official team photog. My cousin is in his senior year so I couldn't refuse. I shot them for half an hour or so in their first full pad practice. The first couple hours were rained out:

Those are some great photos, are you going to end up doing another shoot? I'm curious to see how they would come out on a day with direct sunlight.

Well I don't know If I'll get a day with direct sunlight, but I'll have night time under stadium lights over and over and over. They haven't had a game yet but I couldn't let my uncle use crappy pictures form last year on his shiny new web page this year. These were shot after a severe lightning storm ~ 7:00 PM

The team had their first home game tonight! I'll see if I can post some better ones tomorrow, in the mean time I am too tired and lazy to sort through and edit them all.

Nice action shots, they don't seem grainy at all from what I can tell which surprises me at 1600 ISO!
