My xbox 360 had been giving me trouble for about a year now, the other day it totally died. Since my family wanted to get a blue ray player I decided I would just get a PS3 instead. So I went to Target and picked up the console and some accessories for the MSRP of $399.

The next day I go to gamestop to turn my broken xbox360 in for credit and find out Sony announced that morning that effective immediately, they would be releasing a new version of the PS3 and dropping all the unit's price to $299!

What timing, I finally get around to getting a PS3 after couple weeks of research on the best price and then Sony surprises everyone with a price drop the day after I buy it. Luckily I was able to return the PS3 to Target and pre-ordered their new one for $299 at gamestop. I just couldn't believe what horrible timing I chose to buy the PS3 with.

Lol that is good timing. My wife got me a ps3 for christmas last year. I think besides little big planet we havent used it for anything besides watching movies and streaming video from our computers. The playback software on the ps3 is much better then the xbox. I am sure it will get more use once a few more good games come out for it like god of war and final fantasy!

No I was in school all day and they aren't even playing it in my theater. I had to drive half an hour to a theater that was playing it, but couldn't get there till 20 minutes after the last showing -_-

I'll see it this weekend though, it looks amazing. The reviews are phenomenal.

Who needs a saltwater aquarium when the PS3 can fake it? This program works with the PS3 camera to make the fish follow your hands in front the TV or get scared off by suddent movements.

I'm not sure why they have neon tetras in the saltwater aquarium though.

Lionfish food?
For those who succumb to the salty water making their cells explode, the vultures will have their meal.
